Real students. Real progress.

That first lift changes things.

“I just managed to raise both my legs in a straddle position and lower my feet all the way to the floor in a controlled manner for the very first time. Thanks heaps for your wonderful training.”

Kris S. · Australia

“...Wow, your analysis is incredibly insightful. I hadn't noticed that was happening, but I see it now. I'm amazed! I can't thank you enough...”

Mone D. · United States

Hands → shoulders → hips → legs

One connected movement.
A clear way to learn it.

Build the strength, mobility and coordination for the press together. Each exercise has a purpose, so you know what you’re working towards.

01 / TAKE-OFF

Make your feet lighter.

Learn to transfer weight into your hands, support yourself through your shoulders and bring your hips into position.

02 / HALFWAY HOLD

Find control in the float.

Develop compression, support and balance while keeping your legs close. Practise here before going higher.

03 / FULL HANDSTAND

Extend when you’re ready.

Build towards opening into the full handstand while keeping the control you developed below.

A few things you might
be wondering.

Do I need to hold a handstand already?

No. You start with the take-off and the foundations of supporting your weight. The halfway hold comes next; extending into a full handstand comes later.

What if I’m not strong or flexible enough?

You don’t need to arrive with all the strength and flexibility the finished press requires. Preparation and progressive exercises help you develop those abilities. If you’re unsure about your starting point, email yasuko.zweng@aaiiaa.com .

What if I’m afraid of falling?

You don’t begin by attempting the full movement. The program includes exit practice and lower positions, so you can build familiarity and confidence before going higher.

How much time should I allow?

Most sessions take around 15–30 minutes, with a suggested schedule of 5–6 days per week. Adjust this to your recovery and repeat sessions when you need more practice.

How quickly will I learn the press?

There is no fixed timeline. Your starting point and consistency matter. Early progress may mean a better weight shift, steadier shoulders or lighter feet. The program helps you develop these steps towards the full skill.

How do access and personal feedback work?

After purchase, you receive access to the online course area. You can return to the lessons with lifetime access and send Yasuko a practice video for a personal assessment of what to adjust.
